I’m a licensed therapist passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges by addressing their unique experiences and needs. My journey into counseling was shaped by years of diverse roles, including church planting, pastoring, and teaching, which have given me a deep understanding of personal growth and resilience.
Alongside these roles, my career in banking and finance broadened my perspective on life’s complexities.
My wife, Anita, and I have been married for 43 years, building a life grounded in faith, family, and a shared commitment to serving others. We have three grown sons, two daughters in Heaven, and ten grandchildren.
At my practice, I emphasize addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I mentor our counselors to provide exceptional care, guiding them to approach each client with compassion and a holistic perspective.
I believe true healing goes beyond treating symptoms; it’s about discovering purpose and finding meaning through life’s challenges. While pain can be difficult, it often teaches us the most about ourselves. This belief shapes how I support clients, helping them uncover strength and move toward a renewed sense of direction.
Faith-Based Counseling: Integrating spiritual growth into the healing process.
Trauma Recovery: Guiding clients through the process of healing from past pain.
Family Dynamics: Helping individuals and families build stronger, healthier relationships.
Mentorship and Training: Supporting and mentoring new counselors in their professional growth.
Over the years, I’ve come to see how life’s challenges, though difficult, often bring the greatest growth and understanding in hindsight. Pain has been a profound teacher, shaping my perspective and approach to helping others.
My journey led me to study at National University in Redding, where I became a licensed therapist. Today, I find joy in helping others explore their inner lives and spiritual journeys, working together to foster healing and balance across all areas of life.
